GHCC 1st XI finish 2009 season as 20/20 Champions and League Runners-Up

Great Harwood Cricket Club secured the Lewis Cup (again) as we fell just short in defending our title, with a strong Baxenden side winning with a comfortable 34 point gap despite losing only 1 less game than GHCC.

We were however successful on Bank Holiday Monday in the 20/20 final, beating Baxenden by two wickets with John 'Oscar de la' Hoyle hitting the winning runs with a vital 10 not out.

New net facility

We are pleased to announce that works have now completed on the construction of the new practice facilities, and they are a tribute to the hard work of the players committee and particularly Mick Deasey in securing the fuinding necessary for the project. All at GHCC are grateful for their input into this massive project.
