VEKA Ribblesdale League Champions 2008

Shobby unable to return

Great Harwood Cricket Club were disappointed to announce that Syed Shahabuddin will not be returning as professional for the 2009 season.

Owing to the recent changes to the work permit regime, and Shobby's participation in the 'rebel' Indian Cricket League, we have been unable to secure the necessary entry clearance for him to return.

Great Harwood Cricket Club have agreed terms for a replacement, and will shortly anounce the man who will try and fill SHobby's shoes.

GHCC crowned champions!

Great Harwood Cricket Club were crowned champions of the VEKA RIbblesdale Cricket League after a damp squib of a weekend in September where no play was possible.

Great Harwood CC would like to thank all our sponsors and supporters for their support over the 2008 season and look forward to seeing you again in 2009
